About Pamoja
Pamoja Holistic Health was founded to address the systemic gaps in healthcare access that disproportionately affect Black and Brown communities, the underinsured, and those who have historically been excluded from quality holistic health services.

We address the whole person — body, mind, spirit, and community — because true health cannot be separated from culture and connection.
Every feature, every resource, and every connection on this platform is designed with our community's wellbeing at the center.
We actively work to dismantle the systemic barriers that have historically excluded Black and Brown communities from quality holistic health services.
Who we serve
We center the lived experiences, cultural traditions, and health needs of Black and Brown communities who have been historically underserved by mainstream healthcare.
Quality holistic health information and connections should not require premium insurance. We serve those who have been priced out of wellness.
Foster parents, kinship caregivers, adoptive parents, and the youth they support — navigating health together with culturally responsive tools.
Meet the founder
Founder, Pamoja Holistic Health | Cultured Collections Boutique, LLC
Visionary · Writer · Advocate · Certified Life Coach · Speaker
With over 25 years of experience in the health industry, La Shaun brings a powerful blend of professional expertise and lived experience to every stage — centering wellness through holistic healing, art, and community empowerment.
From a young age La Shaun had an innate knowing of how the body, spirit, and soul are interconnected with nature. When she turned her activist energy toward holistic health, it was deeply personal. As a family caregiver, community organizer, student, and single parent, she was diagnosed with hypertension and complex PTSD — stressed out, burnt out, and depleted. She began to slow down, listen to her MEPS (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual self), and prioritize herself. That turning point became the seed of Pamoja.
La Shaun is a creative visionary, dynamic training facilitator, and social justice champion whose work bridges healing, equity, and systemic change. As a single adoptive mother and lifelong learner currently continuing her studies in Sociology, her voice is grounded in empathy, resilience, and purpose. She challenges systems to make space for equity, justice, and true belonging.
Art is one of La Shaun's most powerful healing tools. She channels creativity and self-expression as pathways to wholeness — a philosophy that lives in her wearable art through Cultured Collections Boutique (DCC Boutique), where she designs apparel and goods that celebrate identity, joy, and resilience.
“In the spirit of Pamoja — we are one.”
